junibacken 3 (or 4)

We had the day off on Friday and decided to go to Junibacken. A view from the front of the ferry in Stockholm harbor.
This girl in the hammock reminded me of my neice Olivia.
Jake looking down from a skyscraper.
On the go around Pippi's house.

Not much of a cat person but I think I like this one.

Spiderman - again. Why break tradition?
Is that the character board again? Wait, I smell a theme going here...

Emil. Or is it Spidey?

I feel I should know this character but I got nothin.
The famed Vasa museum. They pulled up a sunken 15th century war ship from Stockholm's harbor, amazingly intact. A must see for visitors to Sweden. (A little warning for would-be guests...)
The nearby Nordic Museum.

Kitty and Spidey on our way back home.

A little reluctant at first...
...perhaps Jake sensed these bathtub photos could show up at his wedding reception one day.

high school musical

This is for all you fans out there....I think Jake's hair is starting to look a little like Zac Efrons. Of course not as styled. Jake wants to grow his hair out long which seems to be the "in" thing here for guys. A little long and rough looking.

cousins

We went to visit our cousins the other day and here are a couple of the pictures. This is Hannah, she is very cute and loves the camera.
This is Johannes, he is pretty cool and he loves to smile for the camera.

bandaid

Sam loves bandaids. Well, most kids love them at some point I guess. He has had a cold so he had a coldsore on his lip and insisted on a bandaid that he applied HIMSELF. He is three so he doesn't need help from anyone anymore.

stop

This is a video we put together for last year's annual Variety Show. You might see a familiar face or two. I got permission to post this by the musician.

ratatouille

Jake made a mouse in class on Monday. This confirmed our theory that kids and playdoh(or hard forming clay) is a universal truth. Question: How do you know this mouse is fed by an American kid?

We went to the Museum of Technology today. These are some of the funny faces we saw there.

spårvägsmuseet (adventures with Dad and Stockholm's public transportation)

The day after everybody left from our Christmas get together Dad and I rode into town to see the Stockholm Transport Museum. It was cool, but I don't think Dad really knew where he was going at first.
This is called the London Viaduct. Daddy says all parts East have to cross this bridge to go to Stockholm.

Once we finally found the museum I got to ride a train.

All aboard!

Another good picture of me on an old trolley bus.

My head is right behind the flash on the glass.

Driving this thing is easy!

I am watching a video of the road rolling in an old bus.

Here I am hanging in the bus. Man I was happy that day. Notice my new Cars jacket from cousin Olivia? This was a fun day.

cool new lights

Daddy put up some blue lights in our room. He says we can keep them up after Christmas. We like them a lot since it gets dark so early. We think they look like stars that go with our moon.

self portrait

Daddy said I drew some self portraits. I didn't know what he was saying at first.
He says he likes this one best. I had just gotten over being sick. He says he likes the way I captured the alarm all the way down to my fingertips.

karlsson

Jake has been home sick with a fever and hack the past couple days. He's getting a little buggy. We found these pictures of Karlsson on the camera tonight.

happy birthday Sam!

I liked my birthday. I got presents from mommy and daddy, mormor, uncle Rolf and aunt Rosi. Aunt Gene sent me two cards. Mommy would not let me eat the house with candy on it so I ate my birthday cake instead. I got big boy underwear too but I am not sure about going on the big potty yet.

what do you call that thing?

Before.

After.

There's probably lot's of creative descriptions for this tasty treat. I couldn't even tell you what it is called for real.
It's a shell of chocolate with whipped cream in the middle sitting on top of a wafer. Kind of like soft serve ice cream dipped in coating but without the ice cream.
I know the boys like 'em.

talegate

Daddy: Sam, are your cars having a meeting?
Sam: No, they are having fruit.
